1. Introduction
Welcome to SEO Brain ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our WordPress plugin, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
2. Definitions
User / Subscriber
Refers to the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Service
Refers to the WordPress Plugin provided by SEO Brain, accessible from our website or the WordPress repository.
Other definitions may appear throughout the document. We aim to keep language simple, but where legal specificity is required, we defer to standard industry interpretations.
3. Subscription Terms
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription.
- Renewal: Your Subscription will automatically renew at the end of each Billing Cycle unless you cancel it or we cancel it.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting our customer support team.
- Fee Changes: We, in our sole discretion and at any time, may modify the Subscription fees. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle.
Refunds are provided within 14 days of the original purchase. Renewal payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
4. License Usage (GPL)
Our WordPress plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2.0 or later. This is the same license that WordPress itself uses.
This means that you are free to modify and distribute the plugin's code. However, access to automatic updates and premium support is provided only to those with an active license key.
License Key Policy
License keys are for the purchaser's use only. While the code is GPL, the service of providing updates via our API requires a valid key. Sharing your license key publicly or with unauthorized third parties may result in the termination of your access to support and updates.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall SEO Brain, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
- Any content obtained from the Service; and
- Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
